Want to do more?
You've already contemplated joining a response team, you've raised awareness in your community, you've got donation cans and you're sending out the donations...but you still want to do more? Well then...
What else is there to do?
Make stickers. Stick them all over the place, gas pumps, bumpers, your car windows, anything. If you add a website or phone number to the bottom of the sticker, people will phone or visit the website when they see it. The more people who know about oil spills and know how they can help, or what they should do - the more people who will actually do something about it.
One more thing....
Ever thought of adopting a sea otter? This website is all about sending in donations and receiving a little booklet with some information about sea otters as well as a picture. All proceeds go towards cleaning up oil spill sites.
